There are seven pencils, with six pencil shavings.

First, remove all the shavings (by dragging them to the edge of the screen), then:
- #1: Sort the pencils by their heights
- #2: Sort the pencils by their roughness, indicated by the symbols at their end: "α" means "smooth", "<" means "rough", and "−" means "neutral".
